ORAL ORDER

1. Learned AGA accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 6. 2. The petitioners are before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: A. Issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.6 to register the criminal case against the accused persons mentioned in the complaint dated 11.09.2023 for the offences committed by them in committing the offence as stated in the complaint by the petitioner to the respondent no.6 vide Annexure-A and direct the conduct the investigation in accordance with law. B. Issue directions to respondent no.3 to monitor the investigation of the respondent no.6 in the interest of justice and equity.
C. Issue such other appropriate writ, order or directions as this Hon’ble Court deem fit in circumstances of the case. 3. The grievance of the petitioners is that a complaint filed with the Station House Officer, Kurugodu, not having been registered, the same has been escalated to the Superintendent of Police, as also the Director

General of Police, which has also not been considered and action taken in registering the complaint. 4. The matter when escalated to the Superintendent of Police, it was required for the Superintendent of Police to consider the said complaint and take necessary action. 5. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i. Writ petition is allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued directing respondent No.3 to consider the representation dated 11.09.2023 submitted by the petitioners at Annexure-A and pass necessary orders within a period of 10 days from today.
