Mr.Anil Babu, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client executed the work. His admitted dues remain unpaid. A person similarly placed had moved co-ordinate Bench by Writ-C no.6909 of 2025 (Satya Prakash Gupta Vs. State of U.P. and 3 others). Grievance of his client is covered by order dated 7th March, 2025 disposing of the writ petition. 2. Mr.R.K. Jaiswal, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent no.3. 3. Text of order dated 7th March, 2025 (supra) is reproduced below:- "Petitioner has approached this Court with the grievance that he was awarded work by the Executive Engineer, NH-Division-1, PWD, Prayagraj, though the work has been completed but still the admitted dues amounting to Rs.12,49,171/- has not been released to him for sufficiently long. Learned Standing Counsel states that appropriate decision would be taken in the matter, in accordance with law. In the facts of the case, we direct respondent no.3 to examine the petitioner's grievance and take appropriate steps as may be warranted in law within a period of two weeks, by passing a reasoned order. Admitted dues of the petitioner would be released within a further period of two months. Petitioner's claims for release of interest in terms of the applicable guidelines/ contract shall also be accorded consideration within the same time. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of." 4. Petitioner says his admitted due is Rs.18,63,400/-. Direction made in above reproduced order is made herein with modification of petitioner's claimed admitted dues at Rs.18,63,400/- and the direction made on respondent no.3. 5.
