The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the R2 and R3 to consider the complaint/grievance of the petitioners (Annexure- B and C) b. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the R2 and R3 to provide the protection to the petitioner and his members in the interest of justice. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite a complaint having been submitted by the petitioner at Annexures B and C, the petitioner has not been provided with police protection. It is in that background, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. Whenever any complaint is received and there appears to be some threat to a citizen, it would be required for the respondents to conduct a Threat Perception Analysis and if there is a genuine threat found, to provide such protection at the cost of the person applying for the same within the jurisdiction of the concerned police station. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10384 WP No. 102639 of 2025 4. In that view of the matter, the above petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the complaint submitted at Annexures-B and C, conduct Threat Perception Analysis and thereafter take necessary action in accordance with law.
