JUSTICE S G PANDIT) We have heard Sri.Girish S Hiremath, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. This review petition is filed under Order XLVII Rule 1 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 praying to review the judgment dated 17.10.2019 in WA No.100258/2018. 3. The petitioner was before this Court in Writ Petition No.105472/2014 questioning the order dated 14.02.2014, whereunder the petitioner was discharged from service in exercise of power under the Karnataka Electricity Board Employees (Probation) Regulations for non-passing of prescribed Departmental Examination. The writ petition came to be dismissed, against which, the petitioner filed an appeal in WA No.100258/2018 and the said appeal was dismissed by judgment dated 17.10.2019. 4. The order under review indicates that the petitioner was required to pass prescribed Departmental - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14860-DB RP No. 100118 of 2024 Examination i.e., Kannada Language examination during the period of probation. As the petitioner failed to pass the said Kannada Language examination during the probation period, the respondents rightly discharged the petitioner from service. No error, much less a grave error, on the face of the record has been pointed out to review the judgment dated 17.10.2019 passed in WA No.100258/2018.
