Shamsi, learned DSGI, has produced a communication dated 8th July 2025, issued by Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Leh, UT of Ladakh, addressed to him, in which it is mentioned that wage claims of petitioners have been examined and calculated based on the last drawn wages verified in the pay acquittance register and that the department assures that upon receipt of funds from Finance Department, the disbursement in favour of petitioner would be effected without any delay in compliance to the directions of this Court. Copy of the said communication is taken on record in the open Court. In view of above, the proceedings are dropped and contempt is closed.
