This Court, vide order dated 12.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 3879 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Gandaddhar Dhurva and Khemraj Mehar, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur District- Raipur vide his request letter dated 15.01.2025 has requested for grant of 06 months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the statements of 09 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and 04 prosecution witnesses are yet to be recorded. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time therefore, he prays for grant of further six months time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
