The petitioner’s complaint qua illegal and unauthorized encroachment of the public park near F-825, Mangolpuri, F Block in Rohini zone is pending for consideration. The complaint seems to have been made to the Special Task Force (STF) on 18.05.2024. It appears that, besides the said complaint, some other complaints were also made. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws the attention of this Court to the map placed on record by respondent no.1-Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board [‘DUSIB’]. He submits that as per DUSIB, the land in question is under illegal encroachment. 4. Be that as it may, the Court in the instant petition is not adjudicating an aspect whether the land in question is under encroachment or otherwise. These aspects will have to be looked into by the concerned authority. However, the grievance, if any, with respect to illegal encroachment deserves to be taken to its logical conclusion with due expedition. 5. Under the facts of the present case, the Court directs that the respondent-DUSIB, MCD and DDA to take the collective steps to deal with the petitioner’s grievance. The Delhi Police is also directed to cooperate with them. 6. Let the action be taken with due expedition within four months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order passed today. 7. If the petitioner’s grievance is not fully mitigated, he shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law. 8. Petition stands disposed of.
