10.12.2025 Court No.28 Item No. 45 tbsr Reject CRM (A) 3952 of 2025 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Baghmundi P.S. Case No. 156 of 2025 dated 11.10.2025 under Sections 318(4)/316(2)/338(1)/336(4)/340(2)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. And In the matter of: Tanmoy Sil
….Petitioner.
Mr. Sk. Moinuddin
….for the petitioner
Mr. Suman De
Mr. Sujan Chatterjee
….for the State
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Two other co-accused were granted bail. Charge sheet has already been submitted.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the statements of witnesses and documents evincing bank transactions. Money was taken by the petitioner from several victims to give job. Fake appointment letters were also handed over in this regard.
Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
