This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for pre-arrest bail in respect of Kalgachia P.S. Case No.63/2024. 3. The dead body of a person was found floating in the river. The informant being the father, suspected that the present petitioner and 9 other persons, who are named in the FIR, may be involved in the murder of the deceased. 4. The Case Diary reveals that till now, police could not collect sufficient incriminating materials against the present petitioner. Therefore, the applicant does not deserve to be detained in custody. His pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 5. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Kalgachia P.S. Case No.63/2024, the applicant Mofidul Islam shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 6. The petitioner shall co-operate with Police Investigating Officer as and when called for. With the aforesaid direction, the present application is disposed of. Case Diary shall be returned.
