By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the disciplinary authority to conclude the disciplinary proceedings more in the circumstances when departmental enquiry has concluded with the submission of enquiry report dated 04.10.2024 and petitioner has ultimately being reinstated on 27.03.2025. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event disciplinary proceedings are directed to be concluded in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the disciplinary authority to conclude the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, provided petitioner cooperates in the final stage of disciplinary proceedings.
