Status report by way of an affidavit of Parvesh Chopra, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police (South), Amritsar City filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, is taken on record. It has been mentioned in para No.3 of the status report that enquiry in the matter was conducted by respondent No.3 through ASI Bikramjit Singh, who reported that during the enquiry, the petitioner refused to record his statement. During the enquiry, statement of the detenue and respondents No.4 to 6 were recorded, wherein the detenue had stated that the petitioner was drug addict and he used to give beatings to her, due to which she called respondents No.4 to 6 to take her along with them and no one had kidnapped her and she is living with her parents as per her own will.
