Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner, a bus- operator, is granted stage carriage permit on the route from Pendra Road to Baikunthpur and he is operating his bus on that route. However, due to shortage of passengers on aforementioned route, petitioner is facing financial hardship and therefore, on 13.10.2025 he submitted an application before respondent No.2 for change in time-table of permit. However, till date no decision on the application of petitioner is taken and the same is still pending consideration. Therefore, a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide application of petitioner within specified time. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents -State would submit that he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner. If the application of petitioner for change in timings of stage carriage permit is still pending consideration, same will be decided expeditiously in accordance with law. 3 4. Heard learned counsel for respective parties. 5. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for respective parties; limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, which is not opposed by learned State Counsel, without commenting anything on merits of case of petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take decision on pending application of petitioner dated 13.10.2025 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law on its own merits, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order. 6.
