This Court, vide order dated 13.05.2024 passed in MCRC No. 1571 of 2024, while allowing the bail of the applicants, namely, Sneha Gupta and Kamna Dubey, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 13.05.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali District- Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.12.2025 has requested for grant of three months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, the case was fixed for prosecution evidence and summons/warrants were issued to the witnesses, however, the evidence could not be recorded due to the absence of material witnesses. It is most respectfully submitted that in the present case, the evidence of 14 prosecution witnesses has already been recorded. After securing the presence of the remaining 02 witnesses, their evidence shall be recorded and thereafter the case shall be concluded expeditiously after recording the statement of the accused, defence evidence and final arguments. Therefore, he prays for grant of three months time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
