PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER:- This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of B.N.S.S., is filed seeking to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail in Crime No.4/2025 of Midthur Police Station, Nandyal District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 85 read with 3(5) of BNS and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State. 2 3. Perused the record. On 18.01.2025 this crime was registered for the above said offences. The petitioners alleged to have committed the offences prior to 18.01.2025. Having heard both sides, it is seen that the offences are punishable with imprisonment of seven years and less than seven years. It is, in these circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section 35(3) of BNSS scrupulously and all the directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and other related rulings. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
