1. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the Tahsildar is unable to effectuate the order of eviction against the unauthorized encroachers due to non-availability of police protection; hence, the petitioners have been constrained to file present petition.
2. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents would submit
that the respondents are willing to extend full cooperation to the Tahsildar, subject to the condition that an advance requisition is made by the Tahsildar enabling the authorities to arrange adequate police protection.
3. Considering the submissions, it is directed that the Tahsildar shall forthwith request the Superintendent of Police for police protection, whereupon the Superintendent of Police shall provide police force so as to facilitate commencement of the eviction proceedings on Saturday, i.e. 13.12.2025.
