The petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 to 7 to take legal action on the complaint dated 25.02.2024 (Annexure P-1) and complaint dated 08.01.2025 (Annexure P- 2) to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No.8 to 11 as he is facing grave danger and there is every possibility that the petitioner may be harmed physically.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed the above-said complaints (Annexures P-1 and P-2) before respondent No.7-Punjab State Human Rights Commission but no action has been taken thereupon so far.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.5- Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, to look into the threat perception of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

In view of the restricted prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.5- Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, to look into the complaints dated 25.02.2024 (Annexure P-1) and dated 08.01.2025 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and take immediate appropriate action, if required, in accordance with law.
