The present petition has been filed seeking direction to consider the claim of the petitioner for giving the benefit of promotion on the post of Lecturer(Panchayat). 2. Today, both the parties filed compromise application stating that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. Hence both the parties compromised the dispute amicably and as such nothing remains in this petition for adjudication. 3. The contesting parties to this petition have amicably settled/compromised the dispute. We have also found that the terms and conditions of compromise/settlement arrived at between the contesting parties are just, proper and legal and hence are acceptable.
