The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay compensation for the acquired land to her at the rate of Rs.45,000.00 per square meter by treating the acquired land as commercial. 2. The case of the petitioner is that her land was acquired by the respondents under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956. An award was declared on 13.06.2022. The case of the petitioner is that the Competent Authority has wrongly valued the compensation for the acquired land. 3. In our considered opinion, in case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the amount awarded as compensation, she will have to challenge the award in appropriate proceedings [Section 3G(5)]. No case is made out to examine the such issue in exercise of writ jurisdiction. 4.
