Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:91038 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 7120 of 2025 Petitioner :- Chandra Shekhar And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Adarsh Singh,Ajeet Kumar,Indra Raj Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Prateek Kumar,Ved Byas Mishra Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. By the order dated 05.04.2025 objections were invited to the promotion list. The petitioners have filed objections but to no avail. The only prayer made by Shri Adarsh Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner is that representation of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Akhilesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel holding brief of Shri Ved Byas Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 and Shri Bhavesh Singh Jadaun, learned counsel holding brief of Shri Prateek Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority in light of applicable provisions of law in the first instance. However, they fairly contend that objections are liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame.
In wake of the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 3 is directed to decide the objections to the promotion list in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally
disposed of.
