The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while the petitioner's father, working as a Sanitary Worker in the second respondent Corporation, died on 09.03.2023. He would further submit that immediately after his death, the petitioner's mother's representation dated 26.04.2023 and his representation dated 04.03.2025, seeking compassionate appointment to the petitioner, are yet to be considered by the second respondent. 3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5. In view of the above fact, without going to the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's mother's representation dated 26.04.2023 and his representation dated 04.03.2025 for compassionate appointment on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
