25.08.2025 Sl. No.03 Ct. 28 NB C.R.M. (A) 200 of 2025 CRAN 1 of 2025 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Rajarhat P.S. Case No.389 of 2023 dated 23.12.2023 under Sections 120B/419/420/406/467/468/471/506 of the Indian Penal Code. And In the matter of: Naimul Islam & Ors. … petitioners Mr. Sandip Chakraborty, Mr. Kaustav Das. …for the petitioners. Mr. Antarikhya Basu, Mr. Karan Bapuli. …for the State. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 17.01.2025. They were asked to surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court within four weeks. Due to miscommunication with the learned counsels, the petitioners could not surrender within such time. They are praying for extension of time to surrender. Heard the learned counsel for the State. It appears that the petitioners could not surrender before the jurisdictional Court, as required, within four weeks because of miscommunication with their learned advocate. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the petitioners are granted liberty to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within four weeks from this date and pray for bail in compliance of the order 2 dated 17.01.2025 passed earlier by this Court. Other conditions of the order would remain unaltered. The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is, accordingly, disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
