Present petition has been filed, praying for the following relief; i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to direct the Regional Transport Officer, District Varanasi (Respondent No.4) allow the application dated 27.03.2025 which is pending before him (Annnexure No.3). 2. The father of the petitioner, who was previously holder of the permit and owner of the concerned vehicle, died on 20.01.2022. In the circumstances, the petitioner seeks transfer of the permit. 3. In view of above, the petitioner may approach the concerned Transport Authority, in accordance with law. In case, steps are taken as provided under the relevant Act and Rules, the same shall be decided by the Transport Authority, in accordance with law. 4.
