The present petition arises out of a disqualification proceeding initiated against the petitioner under the provisions of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959. Vide order dated 15.07.2024, interim relief is granted to the petitioner in terms of prayer clause (D) of the petition, which read thus : “D) To grant stay to the operation, execution and implementation of the order dated 18.06.2024 issued by the District Collector, Parbhani thereby disqualifying the petitioner as a Member of Gram Panchayat, Pimpalgaon Sarangi, Tq. Purna, Dist. Parbhani and for that purpose issue necessary orders;” 2025:BHC-AUG:17246 956 WP NO.7277.2024 -2- 2. The parties jointly make a request that the petition can be disposed of finally by directing the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal within a stipulated period by continuing the interim order dated 15.07.2024 till disposal of the appeal. 3. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of by directing the learned Appellate Authority i.e. Divisional Commissioner, Aurangabad to decide the Appeal No. iz-dz-2024@xzkia@vfiy&1@flvkj&45 on or before 31.07.2025.
