No.13347 of 2025 ------------------------------------------- Dated this the 1st day of April, 2025 JUDGMENT Petitioner claims that his vehicle bearing Registration No.KL-46-V-6561, registered on 10.11.2020 sustained an accident and was completely destroyed. The Insurance Company settled the matter on the basis of total loss, and possession of the vehicle was taken over by them. According to the petitioner, the accident occurred on 22.12.2022, and immediately thereafter, Form-G application was filed, which was allowed for the period from 01.07.2023 till 30.09.2023. Since the Motor Vehicles Department wanted the vehicle to be produced, he could not pursue the Form-G application thereafter. In the meantime, revenue recovery proceedings have been initiated as per Exhibit-P5 and Exhibit-P6 seeking to recover an amount of Rs.63,350/- as on 24.07.2024. Later, petitioner filed a representation before the 3rd respondent as per Exhibit-P7 on 07.03.2025. The limited relief now sought for by the petitioner is for a direction to consider and dispose of Exhibit-P7 representation. 2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader, I am of the view that the representation submitted by the petitioner can be directed to be disposed of in a time-bound manner. 2025:KER:27567 W.P.(C). Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exhibit-P7 representation, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Coercive proceedings initiated against the petitioner pursuant to Exhibit-P5 and Exhibit-P6 shall be kept in abeyance till disposal of Exhibit-P7 representation on condition that petitioner deposits with the 3rd respondent an amount of Rs.30,000/- on or before 15.04.2025.
