This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail in respect of Golakganj PS Case No. 264/2024. Page No.# 2/2 3. On the day of occurrence, the 52 years old petitioner had thrown acid upon a 30 years old woman. 4. The medical report shows that the woman sustained serious injuries. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. The provisions of law as laid down under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 are not meant to protect people like the petitioner. Therefore, his bail application is found to be devoid of merit and as such, the Anticipatory Bail Application filed by the petitioner Abdul Safi @ Abdul Sofik is dismissed and disposed of.
