The case of the petitioners is that they were entitled to developed land in lieu of acquisition of their original holding. Their name finds place in the eligibility list notified by the respondent Development Authority. However, the petitioners have not been issued any allotment letter so far. The representation filed by the petitioners in this behalf is pending. 2. The prayer made is that the Authority be directed to decide the representation dated 02.04.2024 made in this behalf. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent Development Authority submits that the Authority would issue allotment letter to the petitioners but it cannot be assured that their request for allotment on a 12 ft. wide road is accepted. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are interested in allotment of plot and they will not insist on allotment of plot on 12 ft. wide road. 5. Having regard to the rival submissions, we dispose of the writ petition by providing that the respondent Development Authority will pass a speaking order in relation to the claim of the petitioners regarding allotment of developed land within four weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
