Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 309 of 2024 arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 65 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 341 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned A.D.J-IX, Palamau at Daltonganj. 3. On 24.03.2024, petitioner and co-accused persons intercepted the deceased persons near the river in village Semartand. It is specifically alleged that the petitioner had inflicted knife injury on the deceased persons, due to which, they succumbed to their injuries. 4. It was submitted that there is inordinate delay of eight hours in lodging of the FIR. It was further submitted that the Informant has stated in his deposition that he was at Ranchi at the time of occurrence. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J) Ranjeet/ Uploaded
