Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J.(Oral) By means of instant petition, the petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ in the nature of cerciorari to quash the recovery mentioned in letter dated 26-3-2025 (Annexure No.1) issued by respondent no.5. (ii) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to refund the recovered amount of Rs. 288896/ from the gratuity of the petitioner. (iii) Issue any other suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. (iv) Award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 04.01.2024, passed in WPSS No. 2269 of 2022, Shankar Singh Bora Vs. State of Uttarakhand and other connected matters. 4. This fact is admitted by the learned State counsel. 2 5.
