The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer :- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Revisional Court Learned District Judge, Sonbhadra to decide the Civil Revision No. 12 of 2025 (Suman Versus Shabhya and others) under Section 12C(6) of U.P. Panchayatraj Act which is pending in the Court of Learned District Judge Sonbhadra expeditiously within stipulated period." 2. The facts in brief as contained in the writ petition are that against the order dated 28.03.2025 passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Robertsganj, District Sonbhadra in the election petition filed by the petitioner, Civil Revision No.12/2025 was filed by the petitioner before the District Judge, Sonbhadra, which was admitted and notices were issued to the opposite parties by the Incharge, District Judge, Sonbhadra on 07.03.2025 but the same has not been decided as yet hence revisional authority be directed to decide the aforesaid revision expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State. 4. In view of the order proposed to be passed herein, no useful purpose would be served by putting the private respondents to notice and keeping this petition pending before this Court. However, in case private respondents feels aggrieved by the order their right to seek modification/variation of the order is being kept reserved. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case and also in the interest of justice, present writ petition is disposed of directing the revisional authority to decide the aforesaid revision expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournment, if there is no legal impediment.
