Through the medium of the instant petition filed under the provisions of Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought for issuance of writs/directions inter alia a writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding upon the respondents to re-issue passport in her favour on the basis of her correct Date of Birth i.e. 19.10.1999 in a time bound manner so that she is in a position to pursue her internship at Dhaka, Bangladesh, after completion of her MBBS course over there. 2. This Court on the previous date of hearing vide order dated 15.01.2025, directed the respondents for consideration of the relief sought in the main petition. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that respondents were waiting for the needful police verification which reportedly has been received by them. 4. The respondents have not chosen to file their reply till date in the matter. 5. Under the facts and circumstances of the case, having regard to the relief sought for, this Court is of the opinion that matter can be disposed of at this stage by passing of appropriate directions in conformity with the provisions of the law which the respondent Nos. 2 & 3 are otherwise obliged to carry into effect. 6. Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to consider the re-issuance of the passport in favour of the petitioner showing her Date of Birth as 19.10.1999 in accordance with law within a period of two weeks under a report of compliance to this Court. 7.
