115 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CWP-14624-2025 Date of Decision : 21.05.2025 RAMESH KUMAR AND ANOTHER .....Petitioners VERSUS DAKSHIN HARYANA BIJLI VITRAN NIGAM LTD AND OTHERS
.....Respondents CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KULDEEP TIWARI Present : Mr. Sunil Kumar Nehra, Advocate, for the petitioners. Mr. Bhupender Singh, DAG, Haryana for respondent no.1. Mr. Rajesh Gaur, Advocate, for respondents no.2 and 3.
KULDEEP TIWARI,
J.(Oral)
1. A perusal of the instant petition reflects that, in fact the instant petition is a misconceived motion, inasmuch as, despite the petitioners being seized of an alternate and efficacious statutory remedy for redressal of their grievance before the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum concerned, yet they have sidetracked the said remedy and have straightway accessed this Court, through instituting the present petition.
2. Faced with the above difficulty, learned counsel for the petitioners seek permission of this Court to withdraw the instant petition, with liberty to approach the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum concerned, for redressal of their grievance.
DHARAM VIR 2025.05.26 18:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

3. Dismissed as withdraw with the aforesaid liberty.
