Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Rail (Hatia) P.S. Case No. 13 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of Sri Shailendra Kumar, learned A.J.C.-V, Ranchi. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 7827 of 2024 by order dated 11.12.2024. 4. The petitioners were apprehended from Platform No. 3 at Hatia Railway Station. On search, 69 kgs of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. 5. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of commercial quantity. 6. Mr. Soumitra Baroi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, has submitted that the petitioners are ladies and they were acting as mules. It was further submitted that from the facts of the case, it is apparent that from their individual possession, intermediary quantity of cannabis was recovered. 7. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/- Uploaded
