2. The case of the prosecution is that the from the outshed of the petitioner's residence, respondent had seized 703 kgs of red sandalwoods. hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is the only accused and the investigation were going on. He further submitted that, red sandal woods were seized and its value goes to the range of Rs.40 lakhs to Rs.50 lakhs.. He also submitted that special team is formed to nabe the main accused and hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
