1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 22.04.2024 passed in MCRC No. 1768/2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Sushil Kumar Chikwa had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN Digitally signed by AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN
2 passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Bilaspur, District - Bilaspur (C.G.) vide its request letter dated 22.11.2025 has again requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial stating that the trial is at the stage of prosecution evidence and the summons / bailable warrants for the presence of witnesses are issued through the Nodal Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters Bilaspur, the only witness is yet to be examined.
4. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today.
5. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
6. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order be sent to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
