Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs: “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to take proper action against the illegal encroachers who have illegally encroached the government land Panchayat Land. 10.2. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate order directing the respondents take appropriate steps for removal of encroachment from the Government Land of Gram Panchayat Aatra. 10.3. Any other relief, which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed application/compliant before respondent No.5/Tahsildar on 20.05.2025 for removing encroachment over Govt. land. However, no action has been taken on it and, therefore, a direction be issued to Tahsildar to consider and take decision on petitioner’s application. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that application is filed only on 20.05.2025 and if the application is still pending, it will be considered in 3 / 3 accordance with law. 4. On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.5/Tahsildar to consider and take decision on pending application submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously.
