This writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- "a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2/ Sub. Divisional Officer Tehsil Sadar District Jaunpur to decide the Appeal No. 001 of 2023 (Bramhanand Vs Taradevi) U/s 207 U.P Revenue Code Gram Rasulpur (Bibipur) Pargana Saremu Tehsil Sadar Distirct Jaunpur pending before him expeditiously within stipulated time as directed by this Hon,ble court. b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to maintain status quo on the spot till disposal of stay application filed in the Appeal No. 001 of 2023 (Bramhanand Vs Taradevi) U/s 207 U.P Revenue Code Gram Rasulpur (Bibipur) Pargana Saremu Tehsil Sadar Distirct Jaunpur pending before respondent No. 2/Sub Divisional Officer Tehsil Sadar District Jaunpur" 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that appeal is pending since 2023 and he prayed that same may be decided expeditiously. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No.2- Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Sadar District Jaunpur to consider and decide the appeal, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
