The petitioner, feeling aggrieved by a report dated 25.03.2025 submitted by Tehsildar Jakhaniya to District Programme Officer, Ghazipur that income certificate issued to the petitioner was obtained on misrepresentation of facts and should therefore be cancelled, has filed the present petition. The sole submission is that the income certificate was granted to the petitioner on 25.11.2024 after proper inquiry. Now on the basis of some exparte inquiry recommendation has been made for its cancellation. The petitioner has already submitted representation before the Tehsildar who has made the recommendation. 2. As, so far, only recommendation for cancellation of the income certificate has been made it is desirable that the District Programme Officer, Ghazipur to whom the said recommendation has been made, gives proper opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 3. Accordingly, we dispose of the instant writ petition by providing that in case any representation is filed by the petitioner within two weeks' from today alongwith documentary evidence in support of her income, the same shall be duly considered by the District Programme Officer, before acting upon the impugned recommendation made by the Tehsildar.
