JUSTICE MITALI THAKURIA ORDER Date : 13-05-2025 Heard Mr. M. Hoque, the learned counsel for the petitioners and also heard Ms. N. Das, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioners, who is apprehending arrest in connection with Goalpara River P.S. Case No.22/2024, under Sections 9/11 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, r/w Section 6/17 of POCSO Act. 3. The case is today listed for Case Diary but it is submitted by Ms. Das that charge-sheet has already been filed vide C.S. No. 2/2025 dated 31.03.2025. 4. In this context, Mr. Hoque, the learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the present petitioners are already on interim pre-arrest bail and hence his interim protection may be extended so that he can appear before the learned Trial Court seeking regular bail. 5. In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to approach the learned Trial Court below within 15 (fifteen) days with an application of regular bail, which may be considered in accordance with law. Till then, it is provided that the interim pre-arrest bail, granted to the accused/petitioner by this Court vide order dated 24.01.2025, shall remain extended for another 15 (fifteen) days from today, enabling the petitioners to appear before the learned Court below for filing fresh application for regular bail. 7.
