The petitioner has filed this application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 with prayer for bail as she is behind bars since 30.12.2024 in connection Page No.# 2/2 with Nagarbera Police Station Case No. 121/2024 under Sections 118(2)/3(5) of the BNS. 3. Heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State. 4. It is submitted that charge-sheet has not yet been filed against the petitioner. 5. I have considered the submissions at the Bar with circumspection. The petitioner has been behind bars for 89 days. Charge-sheet has not yet been submitted against the petitioner. 6. The petitioner is a local resident and she has pledged to co-operate with the remaining part of investigation and to abide by any stringent bail conditions if imposed upon her. 7. Considering all aspects, petition is allowed. The petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Elaka Magistrate. 8.
