Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought in this writ petition and the other facts and circumstances of the case, this court is of the view that no notice is necessary, as no prejudice would be caused to the respondent university if a direction is issued to the Director, Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras, to consider the representation made by the petitioner for the issuance of testimonials. 4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought and the immediate requirement of the testimonials for the petitioner to join a postgraduate course, this court, without going into the merits and demerits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 21.05.2025 and take appropriate decision thereof as to the issuance of the original mark sheets pertaining to V & VI Semesters, course completion certificate, provisional certificate and degree certificate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly with the above directions.
