The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition for a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the departmental appeal pending before it since 21.07.2025. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, vide order dated 01.07.2025 (Annexure P/7), the services of the petitioner have been terminated by the Joint Director (Education), Surguja Division, Ambikapur, against which the petitioner a departmental appeal on 21.07.2025, but till date his departmental appeal has not been decided, therefore, the respondent No.2 may be directed to decide the departmental appeal within the stipulated time frame, in accordance with law. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State opposes has no objection, if such a direction to decide the departmental appeal within the stipulated period, in accordance with law, if already not decided. 4. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to decide the pending departmental appeal of the petitioner (Annexure P/8) within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, on its own merits and after providing proper opportunity of hearing to the parties.
