Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the respondent No.2 may be Digitally signed by MOHAMMED AADIL KHAN Date: 2025.12.05 11:25:17 +0530 2 directed to decide the departmental appeal pending before it since 13-06-2025 within a reasonable time-frame. He would further submit that against the order dated 13-02-2025 by which the petitioner was removed from service, he has filed a departmental appeal on 13-06-2025 before the respondent No.2, but till date his appeal has not been decided and therefore, he filed the present writ petition for directing respondent No.2 to decide the appeal within a reasonable time-frame. 2. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State would submit that she has no objection if such a direction is given to decide the appeal within a reasonable time-frame in accordance with law. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to decide the departmental appeal of the petitioner (Annexure-P/5) within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law on its own merits and after providing proper opportunity of hearing to the parties.
