The present criminal revision has been filed challenging the impugned judgment and order dated 17.04.2025 passed by learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar in Misc. Criminal Case No. 126 of 2023, Smt. Kavita Rani and Another Vs. Vishal under Section 125 Cr.P.C. 4. Heard learned counsel for the revisionist and perused the record. 5. After perusing the records, it is revealed that the revisionist despite service did not appear before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court concerned and, as such, matter was proceeded ex-parte. 6. Since, the revisionist has an alternative remedy of moving an application for challenging the ex-parte order passed under Section 125 Cr.P.C., as such, the present criminal revision is not maintainable and is liable to be dismissed.
