The applicant has filed the present contempt petition alleging non- compliance of this Court’s order dated 25.06.2025 passed in W.P.(C) No. 1187 of 2024. 2. In pursuance of direction given by this Court, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing (E.O.W.) vide memo dated 01.12.2025 has informed the Chief Executive Officer, Raipur Development Authority that if the petitoner gives an undertaking before the Raipur Development Authority that he will not sell the property till the investigation and trial is concluded, then the freehold can be granted. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will give an undertaking within 10 days and in turn the respondent shall allow him to freehold the land within 01 month. 4. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing is required to be adjudicated by this Court at this stage, therefore, the Contempt proceeding initiated against the respondent is closed. 5. Accordingly, the instant contempt petition is disposed of. 6. It is made clear that if either the petitioner or the respondent adopts delayed tactics, this Court may take serious view in the matter and the petitioner will be at liberty to revive the contempt petition. 7.
