Challenged in this petition is the order of J&K Special Tribunal, Srinagar, vide which petitioners’ appeal against respondents’ order issued under Section 253 of J&K Municipal Corporation Act as also Demolition Notice No. SMC/Enf/S/4372-79 dated 15.01.2024, vis-à-vis demolition/ pulling down of stair/veranda raised over septic tank, has been dismissed, upholding the said orders. As none has appeared for petitioners today as also on last three consecutive hearings therebefore, suggesting petitioners’ disinterest in prosecuting the matter, and, therefore, instant petition is dismissed for non- prosecution along with connected CM(s).
