Mahajan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. RR Kaushik, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner Smti. Sonali Das has prayed for releasing her on bail after she was arrested in connection with Page No.# 2/2 Silapathar P.S. Case No. 251/2024. 3. The petitioner was working as an Office Assistant Multipurpose in Assam GraminVikash Bank, Silapathar. According to the FIR, the Assistant Manager, Smti. Priti Das directed her to deposit an amount of Rs. 8,08,890/- in the account of her husband Ujjal Das. Accordingly, the petitioner deposited the money in the said account. Later on, it was found that an erroneous job was done by the petitioner and that too on the advice of Smti. Priti Das. 4. The pet6itioner has already spent 30 days in judicial custody. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances of the case, the petitioner no longer deserves to be detained in custody. Her bail application is allowed. 7. It is hereby directed that the petitioner, Smti. Sonali Das, who was arrested in connection with Silapathar P.S. Case No. 251/2024, shall be released on bail of ₹ 25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhemaji. With the aforesaid direction the bail application stands disposed of. The CD shall be returned. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
