Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State. 2. The applicant has approached this Court apprehending arrest in connection with FIR No.562/2024, dated 06/06/2024, registered with Shrigonda Police Station, District Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under sections 307, 326, 324, 504, 506, 143, 147, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/25 of Arms Act. 3. The case against the applicant is that he, along with the co-accused, assaulted the informant and others, causing injuries. The FIR alleges that the applicant is the main accused and that he attacked the informant using garden pickets and a sickle. It is specifically alleged that he struck the informant and other witnesses on the head with a garden picket. As a result of the assault, three persons sustained injuries, with the attacks targeting vital parts of the body. Page 1 of 2 2025:BHC-AUG:9124 921 ABA 387-2025 4. The presence of the applicant at the scene is not in doubt, as CCTV footage confirms his involvement. Additionally, the medical certificate indicates that the injured persons suffered grievous head injuries, including the informant, who sustained a serious injury on the head. 5. Considering the gravity of the offence, the nature of injuries suffered by the informant, and the prima facie evidence placing the applicant at the scene, no case is made out for granting anticipatory bail. Furthermore, the garden pickets used as weapons in the commission of the offence are yet to be recovered from the accused. 6. In view of the above, the application stands dismissed. ( ARUN R.
