The present petition has been filed, challenging the order dated 24.9.2024, passed by the District Magistrate, Lalitpur whereby the lease of the petitioners has been cancelled and, consequently, an order has been passed to recover the balance of royalty and other dues from the petitioners. From the order dated 23/24.9.2024, the petitioners have also been blacklisted for a period of two years. 2. The order is appealable under Rule 79 of the U.P. Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules, 2021. 3. As the petitioners have statutory alternative remedy, available to them, we do not consider it to be a case for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 4. In case, the petitioners file an appeal within 30 days from today, the same shall be decided on merits. 5. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
