The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 81 of 2024 arising out of N.C.B. Crime No.6/NCB/Ranchi/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 8(C) read with 15(C), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge-cum-Principal Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi. 3. On 8.08.2024, N.C.B, Ranchi, on the basis of confidential information seized the Tata Truck LPT 3718 bearing Registration No. BR02GA 4481 from a place near Hesmi Toll Plaza, Mandar. On search, 4317.400 kgs of poppy husk were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither arrested at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that the petitioner is neither the owner, nor the driver of the said truck. It was finally submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired after more than three months from the date of occurrence on the basis of confession of the owner of the vehicle. 5. Mr. Anil Kumar, learned Additional S.G.I. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submissions made above and nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge-cum-Principal Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 81 of 2024 arising out of N.C.B. Crime No.6/NCB/Ranchi/2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Nandini/-
