This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of MANISH YADAV Digitally signed by MANISH YADAV Date: 2025.12.19 11:17:35 +0530 2 the Constitution of India against the order dated 19.12.2024 passed by respondent No. 2/DGP, PHQ, Raipur by which the respondent No.2 counted the seniority of the petitioners on the post of Inspector-A (Stenographer) from 20.01.2023, also against the order dated 11.04.2025 passed by respondent No. 2 and for issuance of direction to the respondents to give seniority to the petitioners on the post o Inspector-A (Stenographer) from 31.07.2008 and also give seniority and promotion to them to the post of Dy. Superintendent of Police-A (Stenographer) from 20.01.2023, the date on which the State Govt. sanctioned four posts of Dy. Superintendent of Police. 2. The petitioners have been granted Selection Grade-A (Stenographer) in the year 2021 and as per the Recruitment rules promotion from the post of Inspector(M)/Senior Grade Stenographer to the post of Dy. Superintendent -A (Stenographer), qualifying service is six years service as Inspector(M)/Senior Grade Stenographer. Since the petitioners have been promoted and granted Selection Grade-A on 18.05.2021, therefore, according to the rules, the 6 years will be completed on 17.05.2027, therefore, at this juncture no writ can be issued as it is a premature stage. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge if cause of action is arise in future. 3.
